PlantArt®

“Art and luxury have early learned that they must work as enhancement and sequel to this original beauty. He who knows the most, he who knows what sweets and virtues are in the ground, the waters, the plants, the heavens, and how to come at these enchantments, is the rich and royal man.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson, Essays, “Nature,” 1850

PlantArt® is as varied as crisply trimmed topiary displays to perfectly grouped cacti in an outdoor setting. PlantArt® uses greenery in an aesthetically pleasing way – simple or complicated, planted or in a planter, real or artificial – to achieve a desired outcome. The designers, or plantscapers, are expertly trained to use the plants to their utmost benefit for you, the client.

One of our slogans says “Every Tree & Plant is A Work Of Art.” It is a philosophy we have stood behind for more than 30 years. We meet the interior plantscaper’s expectations and allow him or her the ability to use PlantArt® to further the design.

Just as any good interior designer would consider the overall color scheme of the room, the walls, the lighting, windows, furniture, fabric, flooring. PlantArt® is a necessary component of any mild or major redecorating. PlantArt® does not have to be expensive; in fact, it can be one of the least expensive components to redecorating a home, room, or business. Simply adding a plant, or several plants, to a room or outdoor environment can totally transform that space.

Plants and trees are unique (remember the slogan!). There are thousands and thousands to choose from. We can custom tailor and custom design PlantArt® to your needs. Consider leaf shape or size. How tall do you want the plant to get? Do you want a tropical plant? Or would you like to try something new, maybe an Asian bamboo? In what color would you like? What types of containers would you prefer?

PlantArt® is also about positioning the plant strategically. Depending on the size and scale of the project, and the size and scale of the plant, this may mean using blueprints of the entire building. It could mean simply clustering the plant containers together for more emphasis and varying texture and height. Or, it could mean placing an individual plant in a specific location of the room – for particular sunlight, emphasis, or aesthetics.

Artificial PlantArt® makes it easier for maintenance and is a more economical alternative. They last longer, for one, and do not require watering, fertilizer, or pruning. Artificial PlantArt® does not fall prey to bugs and will never die. If the PlantArt® will be used in an office, retail or other business setting consider what it will say about your establishment, and remember to keep that PlantArt® as maintained as possible. No one wants to invest money in art and lose their investment.
